This page contains everything you need to prepare for your session, including event details, arrival information, presentation requirements, AV specifications and key contacts. Please review the sections below relevant to your speaker role.
Event Details
Women in Engineering Summit
Dates: 21-22 October
Venue: Pullman Hyde Park, Sydney - - 36 College Street, Darlinghurst, Level 1

Please note: the agenda is updated regularly, so we recommend checking your session time before arriving in case any minor program changes have been made.
What you need to do!
Please respond to the email to confirm receipt and provide your mobile phone number and dietary requirements (if apply). If you are presenting as a keynote, slides are due at least 2 days prior (details below).
Arrival & Registration
When you arrive, please head to the registration desk to collect your complimentary speaker pass. We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before your session so you have plenty of time to settle in and have a coffee. Speaker passes are non-transferable, and speaker referral discounts are available if you have colleagues who would like to attend.
Please note
Professional photography is not provided, although colleagues are welcome to take photographs during the event where appropriate. Pls advise the team of your support person so they can be registered for access (photo's only).

Keynote Speaker
Thank you in advance for taking the time to present as a keynote at the event. If you are planning on using slides for your keynote session, these are required to be submitted prior - deadline is 19th October- to Suzy Thomas.
Slides need to be formatted in PowerPoint, 16:9 ratio. Please embed any video's as MP4 files into the deck (You Tube links will not be accepted).
Please be in the room 10 minutes before your session, and keep in mind that your allocated session time includes Q&A.
After your session, presentation PDFs will be shared with attendees unless you have advised us otherwise.
Chair details
Chairperson
Closer to the event, the Producer will be in touch and provide a comprehensive information pack for the role of Chairperson.
The pack includes housekeeping; timing; agenda; speaker details and event information.
The Producer will be on-site from 8:15am on the day to meet and go through the set-up; agenda and role requirements.
Provided will be timecards if need for speakers during their sessions, we do ask to leave five minutes for Q&A from the audience unless otherwise stated.
On stage will be a lectern and microphone, or if you prefer a lapel please advise.
Panelist details
Panel Speaker
Your moderator will be in touch before the event to help coordinate the panel discussion. Handheld microphones and panel seating will be provided, and we recommend being in the room 5–10 minutes before your session so you have time to get settled with the group.

Panel Moderator
Panel Moderators will be provided with the details of the panels prior to the event, so there is time to prepare for a great discussion.
A lectern and microphone will be available, and handheld or lapel microphones can be arranged on request if needed.
Panelists will be seated on panel chairs with hand held microphones. The Chairperson will introduce the moderator and topic and from here you will lead the discussion/opening.
Good News! - There are no slides to prepare.
Facilitator details
Roundtable Facilitator
Roundtables are informal, facilitator-led discussions, so no slides or presentation materials are required. Delegates will rotate 3 times between groups during the 90-minute session, and we recommend preparing a few opening points to guide the first 10–15 minutes before opening the conversation to the group.
Assistants & Communications Team
Support staff are welcome to attend for your speaking session only (no catering or access to the conference) and will need to be registered prior to the event.

Dinner
We would love for you to join us at the Event Dinner, Wed 20 October, 6.30pm. A chance to mingle with industry peers over a 3 course meal and drinks. Cost is $225 - Please RSVP to Suzy by no later than 28 Sep.
Accommodation
The venue is offering discount accommodation. Please refer to the attached flyer for the details and code to book direct.
